HAGERSTOWN, MD News (7/13/2023) – Today the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released that they had received information that several robberies may have occurred within the area but have gone unreported, involving an unidentified suspect in an unidentified community.

In the post, the Sheriff’s Office states that “the suspect in those alleged crimes is a teenage male, who initially came across as friendly, but later threatened and robbed the victim.”

The Sheriff’s Office did not identify or further describe the suspect, and also did not disclose what communities had been affected, or the time period of these robberies. Also not disclosed, was if the suspect is still at large. However, the Sheriff’s Office took the opportunity to remind the community of basic crime prevention tactics, such as not letting unsolicited visitors into your home.

If you have been a victim of this unidentified suspect, who there is no available description of, during the unidentified time period in an unidentified community, please contact the Sheriff’s Office as they continue to investigate these alleged incidents.

Article by an unidentified RFHC staff member. And sadly, no this isn’t a satire article, but it probably should be.
