Smithsburg Business to Host Costume Parade to Benefit Smithsburg Elementary PTA

SMITHSBURG, MD News (10/8/2022) – On October 30th, the The Artist’s Palette in Smithsburg will host a costume parade to benefit the Smithsburg Elementary PTA. The parade is open to the first 50 registrants, and will start at Smithsburg Veterans Park at 1:45 PM.

“My goal is to bring music, art culture and diversity to our community through the salon as well as the festivals we host. I want to bring the community together. I truly believe that supporting each other is a main component to happy, thriving communities.” said Jamie Fogle, owner of The Artist’s Palette.

As part of the parade, The Artist’s Palette Hair Salon and Gallery on North Main Street will host live music and artists. 10% of sales during the event from Artist’s Palette, Wolfe’s Den, and Dixie Diner will be donated to Smithsburg Elementary PTA.

Salsa Mama On The Go will also be present selling food.

Prizes will be awarded for scariest, funniest, and most original costume.
