SMITHSBURG, MD News (10/18/2022) – Smithsburg will hold its monthly yard waste pickup on Wednesday, October 19th. Since the yard waste drivers will start at 3:20 a.m., Smithsburg residents should ensure that any yard waste is set early the evening beforehand. The Town of Smithsburg will host its monthly yard waste pickup two more times this year, on November 16 and December 21.

Freeze Watch Issued for Western Maryland
HAGERSTOWN, MD News (10/17/2022) – The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch for portions of eastern West Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland.
The Freeze Watch continues through 10 AM Tuesday. Frost or freeze conditions are possible in western Maryland during the nighttime and early morning hours Tuesday (10/18) night through Friday morning (10/21).

HAGERSTOWN, MD (10/7/2022) – Today President Biden will visit Hagerstown, MD, and give a speech at the Volvo plant about how he’s improving the economy, and undoubtedly how we’re all better off thanks to him and Congressman David Trone. While some might celebrate this visit by the President, for me, it’s a sobering reminder of the continuing pain I now deal with because of their policies mandating the COVID vaccine.
