But keeping the lights on and taking the fight to local accountability takes resources. Your monthly subscription directly funds our public records requests, website hosting, and time spent analyzing local government and events so you don’t have to.
We are the only newsroom in Washington County with facts-first focus, locally owned, independent, while keeping our core news content free. Will you help us keep it that way?
Bella’s Bites, a family-owned restaurant, has been a beneficiary of Comcast Business’s reliable internet services. These services are crucial for the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring smooth online and in-person customer experiences. The owner of Bella’s Bites highlighted that the fast and dependable connectivity provided by Comcast Business is essential, especially during peak hours when order volumes surge. This reliable infrastructure allows the restaurant to serve its customers efficiently without any disruptions.
The journey of Bella’s Bites began in 2017 as a food truck, founded by Scott Haupt and named after his eldest daughter. The business expanded to a brick-and-mortar location in April 2025. The restaurant prides itself on serving homemade food, and its reliance on connectivity has grown significantly with increasing customer demand. The transition from a food truck to a permanent establishment presented new operational complexities, requiring a robust network to manage multiple ordering platforms, process digital payments in real-time, and handle a substantial volume of online orders, which now account for nearly half of the company’s revenue. Comcast Business provides the high-speed internet necessary to support this growth and the technology-focused customer experience Bella’s Bites aims to deliver. Bella’s Bites is now located at 11205 John F. Kennedy Drive, 101, Hagerstown, MD.
