Per a press release from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), DriBiz LLC is voluntarily recalling approximately 760 units of its Ammo Tabs Fiber Desiccant Tiles. These tiles, designed for use in firearms and ammunition storage, have been found to potentially fail in their primary function of protecting contents from humidity. This failure can lead to excess moisture, causing corrosion or rust on firearms and ammunition. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled Ammo Tabs are advised to immediately cease using the product. To receive a full refund and obtain instructions on how to properly dispose of the desiccant tiles, customers should visit the firm’s website at https://www.norustzone.com.
