Per a press release from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), DriBiz LLC is voluntarily recalling approximately 760 units of its Ammo Tabs Fiber Desiccant Tiles. These tiles, designed for use in firearms and ammunition storage, have been found to potentially fail in their primary function of protecting contents from humidity. This failure can lead to excess moisture, causing corrosion or rust on firearms and ammunition. Such damage could, in turn, increase the risk of product malfunction, posing a potential injury hazard to users.

The recalled products are rectangular, off-white fiber desiccant tiles measuring approximately two inches by four inches and having a thickness of 2.5mm. They are identified by the model number AMT-010 printed on their packaging. These Ammo Tabs are intended to be placed inside ammunition cans and pistol cases to absorb and retain humidity. The recall was initiated on February 5, 2026, after it was determined that the product could pose a significant risk to consumers. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Ammo Tabs are advised to immediately cease using the product. To receive a full refund and obtain instructions on how to properly dispose of the desiccant tiles, customers should visit the firm’s website at https://www.norustzone.com. The website also contains further information regarding the recall. The Ammo Tabs were sold exclusively on Amazon.com between July 2025 and December 2025, with prices ranging from $10 to $13. The importer of record for these products is DriBiz LLC, based in Fairview Heights, Illinois. The desiccant tiles were manufactured in China.
