The recalled product is identified as Little Cow Co. candles contained within glass jars with screw-top lids. These candles feature a sticker on the front of the glass jar bearing the “Little Cow Co.” brand name. The sticker also indicates “100% natural soy wax candle, laced with organic butter.” The candles were sold nationwide at New Seasons Market and Town and Country stores from December 2025 through January 2026 for approximately $25. The manufacturer, Little Cow Company LLC of Portland, Oregon, produced these candles in the United States.
Consumers who purchased these candles are advised to immediately discontinue their use. To receive a full refund, customers must contact Little Cow Company. The company requires consumers to draw a large “X” on the glass jar with a permanent marker, cut the candle wicks, and then email a photograph of the marked jar and cut wicks to the company. Little Cow Company has reported receiving two instances of glass jars breaking. However, no injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents.
This recall is designated as Recall Number 26-241 and is part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to ensure consumer product safety across the nation. Consumers with questions or who need further assistance can reach out to Little Cow Company via email at info@littlecowco.com or by visiting the company’s website at https://littlecowco.com/pages/recall and selecting the “Recalls” option.
