During the stop, officers noticed two loaded Glock-style handguns visible within the vehicle. A search of the occupants resulted in the recovery of a third Glock-style handgun from a juvenile. Additionally, multiple loaded magazines compatible with the recovered firearms were seized. Investigations revealed that the detained individuals had attempted to gain forced entry into an unoccupied apartment.
The five adult suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. They have been charged with several offenses, including wearing, carrying, and transporting a handgun in a vehicle, conspiracy to commit the same, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of a regulated firearm under the age of 21, and breaking and entering into a dwelling. The juvenile involved in the incident was also detained, and their information will not be publicly disclosed.
