The facility, situated at 407 Sagner Ave. near the East Patrick Street entrance, is now open daily and will operate year-round. It features two gender-neutral restrooms and one ADA-compliant restroom, all equipped with heated interiors for consistent comfort. The restrooms are scheduled to be unlocked each morning and secured each evening.

The addition of public restrooms along Carroll Creek has been a recurring request from both residents and downtown stakeholders. This project is part of a broader strategy to invest in the park’s accessibility and overall public enjoyment. Notably, the restroom building was integrated into the City’s Capital Improvement Program as part of a Stormwater Pump Station Project, allowing for efficient and cost-effective construction by leveraging an existing infrastructure development.

Daily maintenance of the new facility will be managed by the same contractor responsible for cleaning other park restrooms. This service will be supplemented by Parks and Recreation staff during their operational hours, ensuring the restrooms remain clean, safe, and welcoming for all users. The City continues to explore future opportunities for amenities and improvements along Carroll Creek as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces.
