Maryland State Police will be participating in National Faith & Blue Weekend from October 10-13, 2025, joining faith-based organizations and law enforcement agencies across the state in a collaborative effort to foster stronger community ties. This initiative aims to build bridges and reduce biases through various activities and outreach programs designed to enhance understanding and cooperation between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The program is founded on the principle that mutual respect, trust, and understanding are essential for building thriving neighborhoods, with the belief that partnerships between faith-based institutions and law enforcement can significantly contribute to this goal.

Maryland State Police have planned a series of events throughout the state, encompassing the Baltimore region, the Eastern Shore, and Southern Maryland. These events will provide opportunities for troopers to connect with residents from diverse faith backgrounds, with a primary focus on effective police-community engagement. The scheduled activities aim to create a welcoming environment for dialogue and interaction, reinforcing the commitment of the Maryland State Police to community partnerships.
Throughout the weekend, several barracks will host events. On October 10, the Easton Barrack will hold an event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 200 block of Market Street in Denton. The following day, October 11, will see multiple events: the Annapolis Barrack will host a gathering from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1909 Hidden Meadow Lane in Annapolis; the Forestville and College Park Barracks will jointly host an event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7006 Flagstaff Street in Hyattsville; the Princess Anne Barrack will hold an event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 30290 Sam Barnes Road in Westover; the Rockville Barrack will host an event from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 608 N. Horners Lane in Rockville; and the Salisbury and Berlin Barracks will jointly host an event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 620 W Main Street in Fruitland.
Continuing into October 12, the La Plata Barrack will host an event from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 500 Saint Mary’s Avenue in La Plata; the Leonardtown Barrack will hold an event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 46855 S. Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park; the Prince Frederick Barrack will host an event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 4125 Solomons Island Road in Huntingtown; and the Rockville Barrack will hold another event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 7500 Maple Avenue in Takoma Park. Finally, on October 13, the Glen Burnie Barrack will host an event from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 8410 Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton. Maryland State Police anticipates a positive and engaging weekend of community building with residents across the state.
