During a routine patrol, FCSO deputies observed Hailey actively engaged in an attempt to breach the construction site’s security. Upon the deputies’ approach, Hailey attempted to flee on foot but was swiftly apprehended without further incident. A search of Hailey’s person revealed possession of burglary tools and an active two-way radio, which appeared to be in use at the time of his apprehension. A subsequent search of the surrounding area for any additional suspects yielded no other individuals.

The investigation into the incident uncovered that Hailey had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest, including several felony charges stemming from previous alleged offenses. These warrants were all served following his arrest at the construction site. Hailey was subsequently transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center (FCADC). He faces charges of Burglary – Second Degree, a felony, and Burglary – Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor. The FCSO is encouraging anyone with further information related to this case to contact Deputy Ramirez at 301-600-1046.
