Approximately 1,780 YooxArmor multi-purpose kids’ helmets have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) due to a failure to meet mandatory safety standards for bicycle helmets. The helmets, sold exclusively on Amazon, pose a significant risk of serious injury or death from head injury in the event of a crash because they do not comply with requirements for impact attenuation, positional stability, labeling, and certification.

The recalled helmets are described as YooxArmor multi-purpose kids’ helmets, size small, with pink coloring featuring a unicorn, rainbow, and star print. They are further characterized by black padding, black straps, and a black and red buckle with a black chin pad. A black and red plastic knob on the rear of the helmet is used for fit adjustment. The “YooxArmor” branding is printed on the back of the helmet. These helmets were available for purchase on Amazon from October 2024 through July 2025 for approximately $30.
Consumers who have purchased these helmets are urged to immediately discontinue their use. To obtain a full refund, customers must contact YooxArmor via email at service@yooxarmor.com or through their Amazon Seller Profile. As a condition for receiving the refund, consumers are instructed to destroy the recalled helmet by cutting off the straps. Upon submission of photographic proof of the cut straps to the provided email address, YooxArmor will process the refund. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The helmets were manufactured in China by Yiwu Shi Yuxing Keji Youxiangongsi, doing business as YooxArmor.
