The recalled vaporizers are identified as the Arizer Solo II, featuring an anodized aluminum housing in Carbon Black or Mystic Blue finishes. They are equipped with a front-facing digital display, a stainless steel heating chamber, and removable glass components. Consumers can identify if their device is part of the recall by checking the serial number etched on the bottom. Only units with a serial number beginning with “M2” are affected. The product packaging may also display UPC 628078800836. These devices were sold nationwide at specialty, health and wellness, and adult novelty stores, as well as online through arizer.com, between June 2024 and July 2025, at a retail price of approximately $170. The vaporizers were imported by 7111495 Canada Inc., doing business as Arizer Tech, and manufactured in China.
Consumers are urged to immediately cease using the recalled Arizer Solo II portable vaporizers. To receive a free replacement, affected customers must contact 7111495 Canada. The company will provide a free replacement Solo II MAX device and wax for disposal once the serial number is confirmed as impacted. Instructions for disabling the recalled unit involve inserting the provided wax into the charging port. Proper disposal is crucial; the device must be taken to a local hazardous waste or battery recycling facility in accordance with local regulations. Consumers are specifically warned against discarding these recalled lithium-ion batteries or devices in regular trash, general recycling bins, or standard battery recycling boxes found at retail locations, as they pose a significant fire risk. It is recommended to contact municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection centers to confirm acceptance of recalled lithium-ion batteries before dropping them off, or to seek further guidance from the municipality if the HHW center cannot accommodate them.
Nine reports have been received by the importing firm detailing incidents of the battery overheating, emitting smoke, or ejecting material. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents.
This recall impacts consumers nationwide who purchased the Arizer Solo II portable vaporizer. Consumers are advised to check their device’s serial number and follow the outlined remedy and disposal instructions to mitigate fire and burn hazards.
