Residents of Washington County, Maryland can now access a detailed look at how their local government plans to spend tax dollars over the next year. According to a release from the Washington County Office of Budget and Finance, the county’s Fiscal Year 2026 Operating and Capital Budget Book has been published online, offering a transparent breakdown of expenditures, revenue sources, and strategic priorities for the year starting July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026.
