The Chambersburg Police Department has issued a notice regarding the incident, which has been classified as non-criminal. Authorities are encouraging anyone who sees Poseidon or may have information about his whereabouts to either submit a tip online or contact the department directly. The urgency is heightened by potential risks to the dog’s safety, especially with the summer holiday bringing increased traffic and fireworks in residential areas.
