Federal prosecutors allege that Darious Felder, 34, was involved in a drug trafficking conspiracy that operated between January and April 2025. The indictment claims Felder conspired with others to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine and committed three separate offenses involving the same quantity in March and April. These offenses allegedly took place in Luzerne County.
The investigation was led by the FBI, the Shenandoah Police Department, and the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office. It falls under Operation Take Back America, a national effort led by the Department of Justice to dismantle drug trafficking organizations and protect communities from violent crime. The program consolidates federal resources under OCDETF and Project Safe Neighborhood to strengthen prosecution and enforcement.

If convicted, Felder faces a maximum federal sentence of 40 years in prison, along with supervised release and potential fines. Sentencing will be determined by a federal judge in accordance with applicable guidelines. Authorities remind the public that an indictment is not a conviction, and Felder is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
