Three brands of kitchen faucets sold online have been recalled due to dangerous levels of lead, posing serious health risks to young children. The VFAUOSIT, KICIMPRO, and BASDEHEN brand faucets, sold through Amazon.com by Whisper08, Kicimpro, and Chenfeng Store respectively, are subject to recalls announced on May 29, 2025. Testing revealed that the faucets can leach lead into drinking water at levels that can be harmful to infants and young children, increasing the risk of behavioral issues, cognitive deficits, and lower IQ scores. No injuries have been reported at this time.

The recall affects approximately 29,000 VFAUOSIT faucets, 50,000 KICIMPRO faucets, and 24,000 BASDEHEN faucets. The affected VFAUOSIT model 06BNV features a brushed nickel finish, pull-down sprayer, and single-hole installation. The KICIMPRO model KM800-01-06BN shares a similar brushed nickel, single-handle design, while the BASDEHEN model CFDTTH-000-YGH is distinguished by its matte black finish and spring spout design. Consumers who purchased these faucets between January 2024 and May 2025 are advised to immediately discontinue use and seek refunds.

Whisper08, Kicimpro, and Chenfeng Store are providing refunds upon confirmation of product disposal. Consumers must submit a photo of the disposed faucet and the original order number to receive compensation. Amazon is assisting in contacting known purchasers. Until a replacement faucet can be installed, consumers are advised to run the faucet water for at least 15 seconds before using it for consumption.
