More than a thousand baby bath seats sold through Amazon.com under the brand name Superb Sports have been recalled due to safety concerns that pose a risk of serious injury or death. The bath seats, distributed by the China-based DualOranges Store, do not comply with federal regulations for infant bath seats and may tip over during use, creating a potential drowning hazard for babies.

The recall, issued on April 3, 2025, affects approximately 1,050 units sold exclusively online from February to November 2024 for prices ranging between $46 and $60. The product, available only in light blue, is constructed from polypropylene and ethylene vinyl acetate plastic. It features four suction cups, an anti-slip cushion, and is decorated with stickers of animals and weather motifs on the front bar. Measurements of the bath seat are approximately 12 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 8 inches high.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission determined that the product fails to meet requirements for stability and leg openings under federal safety standards for infant bath seats. Although no injuries have been reported, the potential risk prompted immediate action. Consumers are advised to stop using the product and contact DualOranges Store via email for disposal instructions and a refund process, which includes submitting a product photo. The company and Amazon are reaching out to all known buyers directly.
