According to the recall notice, the zipper pull on the back of the plush bags can detach, posing a serious risk to young children if ingested or swallowed. While no injuries or incidents have been reported, the company is urging customers to stop using the bags immediately and return them to any Primark location for a full refund. The bags were sold for around $6 and feature a soft, plush design—Stitch in blue and Angel in purple—with dimensions of roughly 10 inches by 8 inches.
The products were sold exclusively in Primark retail stores located in the Northeast U.S., as well as in Florida, Maryland, and Illinois. Each bag includes a swing tag care label attached to the side. The bags were imported by Primark US Corp., based in Boston, Massachusetts, and manufactured in China.
