Federal safety officials are urging consumers to immediately stop using KIDINIX infant swings, citing multiple violations of federal safety standards that pose serious risks to infants. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning on May 15, 2025, emphasizing that the swings fail to meet structural integrity requirements and also violate regulations related to the safe inclusion of coin cell batteries in children’s products.

The pink-colored swings, sold online via Amazon.com between March 2024 and March 2025, were marketed under the name “Baby Auto Swing” and marked with the model number BB701. Approximately 370 units were sold for prices ranging from $88 to $110. CPSC determined that the swings could result in falls due to inadequate structural design, posing a clear hazard to babies. Compounding the risk, the swing’s remote control contains a lithium coin battery but lacks the warning labels mandated under Reese’s Law, which aims to prevent fatal injuries from ingested batteries.

These batteries, if swallowed by children, can cause serious internal injuries, including chemical burns, or even death. Despite a Notice of Violation being issued to the seller, Shenzhenshi Guanshengxiang Maoyiyouxiangongsi, based in China, the company has not cooperated in issuing a product recall or providing a remedy to consumers.
