A recall has been issued for over 5,000 Boyro Baby convertible high chairs due to multiple safety risks, including serious injury or death. The affected product is a 4-in-1 convertible high chair available in green, gray, and pink. It features a removable seat cushion, detachable tray, footrest, and an under-seat storage compartment. The chair is designed to convert into a low chair, rocking chair, and slide. However, federal investigators found that the restraint system was not properly attached, and that the latching mechanisms can fail—posing a fall hazard. Additionally, a wide gap between the seat and tray presents an entrapment risk for children.
No injuries have been reported so far, but the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has flagged the high chair for immediate removal from use. Customers who purchased the product between October 2023 and November 2024 for $70 to $90 are advised to disassemble the high chair and destroy key components. Boyro Baby requires photographic evidence of the destroyed parts—specifically the restraint system and seat cushion—before processing refunds.
