More than 2,700 high chairs sold under the HONEYJOY brand have been recalled following concerns that they pose a suffocation hazard to infants. The recall, announced on April 3, 2025, affects multiple models of convertible and foldable high chairs sold exclusively through Amazon.com. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) identified violations of federal rules governing infant sleep products, particularly regarding the use of inclined surfaces greater than 10 degrees.

The affected products include various 3-in-1 and 5-in-1 convertible high chairs, booster seats, and infant swings manufactured by HONEYJOY COMPANY. These high chairs were marketed as suitable for infant sleep but fail to meet the requirements of the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. No injuries have been reported to date, but consumers are advised to immediately discontinue use.
The high chairs were sold in multiple colors including gray, pink, beige, blue, and green, and were made of metal and plastic with cloth seats. A sewn-in label with the model number and manufacturing date can be found on the seat cover. All models were sold on Amazon.com between April 2023 and August 2024 at prices ranging from $79 to $220.
