Residents are encouraged to call 240-313-4345 only if a roadway is completely blocked and cannot be traversed by any vehicle. If at least one vehicle can pass through, officials request that residents refrain from calling. The county’s immediate objective is to ensure all roads are minimally passable, with full restoration and cleanup scheduled for next week.
Local authorities also reiterated that 911 and Emergency Management lines should not be used for inquiries about power outages. These channels must remain clear for critical emergencies. Residents seeking updates on power restoration are instructed to contact their respective utility providers directly.
