As police approached Frisby around 6:30 p.m. on April 18, he attempted to flee the area on foot. Officers pursued him and apprehended him in the area of Sumans Avenue and Susan Avenue. During the arrest, Frisby resisted and pulled a handgun from his waistband. Officers were able to restrain him, secure the weapon, and complete the arrest without further incident.

The firearm found in Frisby’s possession was confirmed to have been reported stolen. After being secured in a patrol vehicle, Frisby was given his inhaler and evaluated on site by Community Rescue Services. He was later transported to Meritus Medical Center as a precaution.
