The issue centers on the toy egg’s yolk component, which can break and create small parts that may be dangerous if swallowed by young children. The toy includes a pretend avocado toast with three attachments: a mirror tomato, a crinkle bacon, and the problematic egg teether. The affected model number, HGB85, can be found on a tag attached to the toast piece. Fisher-Price has received five incident reports, including two where infants had small pieces in their mouths. No injuries have been confirmed.

Consumers are advised to stop using the toy immediately and keep it out of reach of children. Fisher-Price is offering a free replacement. To receive one, customers must mark the egg component with the word “Recall” and a unique identifier, take a photo of the marked toy, and submit it through the company’s recall website. Instructions and submission details are available at service.mattel.com. Fisher-Price will send a replacement confirmation before consumers are asked to dispose of the recalled item.
