Cedric James, 33, of North East, Maryland, was arrested after a March 19 incident on Pulaski Highway in North East. A victim reported that another driver displayed a firearm during a road confrontation. Investigators with the Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crimes Initiative later identified James as the suspect. A search of his vehicle and residence on March 28 led to the seizure of a loaded handgun. James, who is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction, was taken into custody and is being held without bond at the Cecil County Detention Center.
In a separate case, Skyler Robinson, 23, of Owings Mills, Maryland, was identified as the suspect in a March 20 incident on the outer loop of I-695 near Stevenson Road. Robinson was apprehended on April 2 by the Maryland State Apprehension Team and the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Region Fugitive Task Force. In addition to being wanted for the road rage incident, Robinson had an active warrant for fleeing and eluding law enforcement. A subsequent search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded ghost gun hidden under the driver’s seat. He is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
