Cedric James, 33, of North East, Maryland, was arrested after a March 19 incident on Pulaski Highway in North East. A victim reported that another driver displayed a firearm during a road confrontation. Investigators with the Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crimes Initiative later identified James as the suspect. A search of his vehicle and residence on March 28 led to the seizure of a loaded handgun. James, who is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction, was taken into custody and is being held without bond at the Cecil County Detention Center.

In a separate case, Skyler Robinson, 23, of Owings Mills, Maryland, was identified as the suspect in a March 20 incident on the outer loop of I-695 near Stevenson Road. The victim told police that Robinson pointed a gun at them during a road encounter. Baltimore County police located the suspect vehicle shortly after the report at a Royal Farms store, but Robinson fled the scene. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
