According to the Republican Caucus, the SBE’s actions not only violated the NVRA but also suppressed legitimate efforts to maintain clean and accurate voter records. The March 19 letter was signed by Minority Leader Jason Buckel, Minority Whip Jesse Pippy, Assistant Minority Leader April Rose, Chief Deputy Minority Whip Wayne Hartman, and Delegate Mike Griffith, who chairs the House Ways & Means Election Law Subcommittee. Despite the gravity of the court ruling, they say they have received no acknowledgment from the Governor or his administration.

The House Republicans reiterated their concerns in an April 3 press release, urging the Governor to act on the ruling and ensure compliance with federal law.
