Holosun Technologies has issued a recall for approximately 9,400 units of its Red and Gold Firearm Dot Sights due to a potential safety hazard involving lithium coin batteries. The affected models, HS503G-ACSS and HE512C-GD, do not comply with federal regulations under Reese’s Law, which mandates child-resistant packaging and warning labels for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. The accessible battery compartments pose a risk of ingestion, which can lead to serious internal injuries or fatalities.
