We know you value local news and entertainment that is free, open, and independent. Producing high-quality, paywall-free content isn't free. It takes time, effort, and resources to keep you informed and entertained. Unlike corporate media, we don’t have deep-pocketed investors or big advertisers funding our work—we rely on you, our readers and listeners, to keep Radio Free Hub City running. The Honey Baked Ham Company, established in Detroit in 1957, is celebrated for its high-quality smoked hams, special curing process, and sweet, crunchy glaze. Its spiral-sliced hams have become a holiday centerpiece and a tradition in many households. The Hagerstown store is part of the company’s network of over 400 retail locations across 40 states. Operating from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, the store offers online ordering for deli and catering items, as well as a café menu for casual dining.
The business, owned by Matt Davis, aims to bring both quality products and a rewarding work environment to the local community. Davis, who has more than three decades of experience in the industry, believes this new location is a valuable addition for customers and employees alike. As part of the Grand Opening celebration, the first 50 guests will receive free Honey Baked Ham sandwiches for a year.
