The tragic death of 13-year-old Levi Maciejewski from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, has been officially classified as a homicide linked to online exploitation. In Levi’s case, the offender posed as a peer to gain his trust, leading to the exchange of sensitive information. When Levi could not meet the escalating demands, the situation tragically culminated in his death.
Cumberland County District Attorney Seán McCormack confirmed the coroner’s ruling of homicide, attributing it to the deliberate actions of the online offender.
