The United Kingdom has become an oppressive monster, jailing its own citizens for criticizing the government’s immigration policies, and even threatening to extradite American citizens for their social media posts. It’s time for the citizens of the UK to overthrow this oppressive regime through nonviolent action. Please be aware that the following opinion article may be unlawful in the United Kingdom and European Union. Fortunately we haven’t cared about that since July 4, 1776.

I am writing this opinion article with the intention of directly violating the United Kingdom’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act of 2022, Section 78. Specifically, it is intended to cause “serious annoyance or serious inconvenience” to the government of the United Kingdom. I write this article because it needs said, and UK journalists would be arrested for it, as the UK has already done to journalists in its country for the mere crime of covering an environmental protest.
Thank God for the First Amendment in the United States, and its protection of our right to freedom of speech. By the way, for those not familiar, the United States Constitution and its amendments do not grant we the people any rights, but instead protects the rights we already have. The Constitution’s first ten amendments, the Bill of Rights, purpose is not to grant us rights, but protect our rights from being infringed on the government, Unfortunately no such protections exist in the United Kingdom, and they’re suffering dearly because of it.

When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.
While it’s not entirely clear who said the famous quote about injustice becoming law (often it is attributed to Thomas Jefferson), it is quite clear that now is the time for residents of the United Kingdom to resist their oppressive government. I am not proposing violent action against the government of the United Kingdom, even though that is what our forefathers were forced to resort to in order to secure the liberation of our country. What I advocate for are the principles taught by the Albert Einstein Institute, which promote nonviolent methods to liberate the country from its current oppressive rule. However, be aware that under the oppressive regime of the United Kingdom, even these nonviolent actions will likely be declared unlawful.

The oppressive regime now ruling the United Kingdom has become so bold, that they are now threatening to extradite United States citizens for social media posts. You read that right, the United Kingdom now wants to arrest residents of foreign countries for laws that don’t even apply to them.
The United Kingdom has taken the ability of its citizens to defend themselves through oppressive firearms laws, and now further infringes on the rights of its citizens by jailing them through vague laws intended to suppress their speech. They do this through laws which they claim are intended to fight “hate speech,” but the problem with this is that when the government has the ability to prosecute its citizens for hate speech, criticizing the government will become classified as hate speech.
The Washington Examiner has an excellent piece on how the UK has essentially weaponized laws against their own citizens to the point that I’m wondering if they’re simply following the blueprint from the book “1984”. I’m honestly expecting the UK to announce the creation of the Ministry of Truth any day now.

So what can the citizens of the United Kingdom do to help hasten change and remove these oppressive laws on freedom of speech? One of my favorite methods outlined by the Albert Einstein Institute is “Overloading of administrative systems.” Did you know that the United Kingdom has an online form that allows you to report “hate crimes”? It would absolutely be a shame if UK and non-UK residents were to overwhelm the UK police with reports of offensive social media posts. Now I’m not saying that you should fabricate information, but if the UK were to be overwhelmed with reports of non-UK residents’ social “hate speech” media posts (as defined by the UK government, which is extremely broad), well there’s not much they could do other than try and sort through all of the reports. Imagine all of the hours wasted by the UK police in trying to identify social media accounts, especially for X.com where people don’t typically use their legal names.
If you’re a resident of the UK, I highly recommend looking into the Tor network to help protect yourself from your government. Register on social media under fake names, and coordinate with others nonviolent methods of removing the oppressive regime controlling the UK government.
If you’re a UK resident and wish to anonymously communicate with a news outlet interested in helping promote more freedom and liberties in your country, please reach out and we’re happy to chat with you.
