MARYLAND News (6/23/2024) – Alex Rosen of a group called “Predator Poachers” has claimed that Michael Knaapen, the chair of the Maryland Democratic Party LGBTQ+ Diversity Leadership Council, solicited a person he believed to be a 14-year-old boy named “Luke” on Tinder.

In a 50 minute video posted by Rosen, Predator Poachers confronted Knaapen and talked with him about the exchange of messages, which not only is claimed to include rather graphic language, but also supposedly included Knaapen sending unsolicited pornographic pictures to “Luke”.
The full video is below, viewers should be advised it contains rather graphic description of sexual acts.
In the video, Knaapen said he regretted his decisions, including providing “Luke” with his address. Apparently the conversation lasted for several months.
Even more disturbing, the activists attempted to turn in the information to law enforcement, who refused to take action.
An archived version of the MD Dems website shows Knaapen as the chair of the Diversity Leadership Council, but the existing version of that page no longer shows his information.
No statement has been released by the Maryland Democratic Party on the incident.
