SMITHSBURG, MD News (11/26/2022) – Here are the current holiday events for the Town of Smithsburg, MD:
- Tree Lighting – Friday December 2, 6-8 PM, Veterans Park
- Breakfast with Santa – Saturday December 3, 7-10 AM, Smithsburg Community Volunteer Fire Company, 22 N Main Street
- Shop with a Cop – Monday December 12, 5-9 PM, Maple Grove Estate Community Center
The Town of Smithsburg needs your support to provide a Merry Christmas to Children in need. Please contact the Smithsburg Police Department to volunteer and assist in shopping with the children. They will stage at the community center starting at 5PM. The Dixie Eatery will provide dinner, Santa will visit the children and then it is off to Walmart and Shopping.
Those wishing to make a monetary donation or sponsorship can make with check or money order out to the Town of Smithsburg. Please place “Shop with a Cop” in the memo line.
