HAGERSTOWN, MD News (11/19/2022) – The Hagerstown tree lighting ceremony was a huge success, with music, vendors, giveaways, and even Santa Claus.

South Potomac Street was blocked off to create a downtown celebration and kick off the holiday season. Thousands of people were in attendance enjoying hot chocolate, local treats, and picking up free mugs and t-shirts with the new city logo.

Unlike previous years where the tree lighting was held on a weekday, this year’s lighting was held on a weekend. The result? An amazing turnout of people filling the street in Hagerstown. Radio Free Hub City captured the tree lighting, and the video is below.
