Officers Could Have Been Killed! 2022 Koogle incident in Washington County, Maryland

Gerald Wayne Koogle Jr. was sentenced to 30 years in prison for firing at Washington County Sheriff’s deputies on June 3, 2022. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree assault as part of a plea deal, which dropped the original attempted murder charges.
