The Maryland Theatre has announced its October programming, offering a variety of events designed to entertain and inspire. Audiences can look forward to a lineup that includes explorations of true crime, celebrated scientific minds, musical tributes, and beloved theatrical traditions, all set to take place within the historic venue. The schedule aims to provide a blend of thought-provoking experiences and classic entertainment for the community throughout the month.

The month kicks off with a deep dive into the psychology of notorious criminals. Criminologist and true crime expert Dr. Scott Bonn will present an evening exploring the minds of serial killers and the public’s enduring fascination with true crime. This event is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026. Following this, attendees can enjoy the lively sounds of Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos on Friday, October 9, 2026. Musical tributes continue with “The Ultimate Elvis Tribute” on Friday, October 16, 2026, and a performance by Hollywood Nights, a Bob Seger experience, on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The latter half of October at The Maryland Theatre promises a mix of artistic and intellectual engagements. Ballet enthusiasts can experience “Swan Lake” performed by the United European Ballet Company on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The following day, Friday, October 23, 2026, will feature the “Scream Queens Drag Show.” Adding to the theatrical offerings, the iconic “Rocky Horror Picture Show” is slated for Friday, October 30, 2026, inviting audience participation. The month will culminate with the 99th Annual Alsatia Mummers Parade on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Residents can also gain insights from renowned scientist, author, and autism advocate Dr. Temple Grandin on Saturday, October 24, 2026, where she will share her perspectives on overcoming challenges and unique ways of thinking. A preview of November’s programming includes a session titled “Connecting With Your Loved Ones” with Medium Debbie on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
Tickets for all events can be purchased through The Maryland Theatre Box Office, located in the theatre’s lobby. The Box Office is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 pm to 5 pm. Additionally, the Box Office opens one hour prior to scheduled events, unless otherwise noted. For those who prefer to purchase tickets online, The Maryland Theatre’s website, mdtheatre.org, provides a direct link to Ticketmaster.com for 24/7 access to ticketing services.
