The work session is scheduled to commence at 4:00 p.m., following an executive session that begins at 2:30 p.m. The public portion of the meeting will open with a proclamation recognizing Fire Prevention Month. Following this, representatives from the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Hagerstown Committee are expected to present a request for community coalition support and funding. The agenda also includes a discussion regarding Invoice Cloud credit card fees, with the Chief Financial Officer and a representative from Invoice Cloud slated to provide details.
A significant item on the agenda is the Groh Estate Annexation, which will be presented by the Deputy Director of Planning and Zoning and a Planner from the Department of Planning and Economic Development. This discussion will likely involve details about the proposed expansion of city boundaries. The meeting will also address trick-or-treat plans, with the City Administrator expected to provide information. The session is set to conclude with comments from the City Administrator and Mayor & Council, followed by adjournment at approximately 5:15 p.m. Residents can access the full agenda and meeting packet on the City of Hagerstown’s official website at http://www.hagerstownmd.org/government/agenda.
