In a time where local news media coverage seems to be disappearing, your contribution is more important than ever. While our in-depth articles are for supporting members only, we won’t put our core news content behind a paywall, because we believe access to news should be democratized, instead of access for only those who can afford it.
But keeping the lights on and taking the fight to local accountability takes resources. Your monthly subscription directly funds our public records requests, website hosting, and time spent analyzing local government and events so you don’t have to.
We are the only newsroom in Washington County with facts-first focus, locally owned, independent, while keeping our core news content free. Will you help us keep it that way?
For those interested in participating as vendors, the Residents Association has set a table fee of $15 for each 6-foot table. A special incentive is offered to Lakeside Village residents: the table fee will be refunded upon setup on the day of the event. However, this refund is not applicable if the vendor is absent. Both indoor and outdoor vendor spaces will be available, offering flexibility for participants. To support the association’s fundraising efforts, each vendor is kindly requested to donate one item from their inventory for a raffle that will be held during the event.
The Residents Association plans to promote the Annual Fall Craft Show through various channels, including on-site signage, radio advertisements, newspaper announcements, and online posts. Vendors are also encouraged to actively promote their participation and invite their own customers to the event, further expanding its reach and potential attendance. Those seeking more information or wishing to inquire about vendor opportunities can contact Roger Vincent directly at 301-992-6787 or via email at roger_vincent@myactv.net. The event aims to foster community engagement and support local craftspeople.
This event offers a chance for residents to find unique holiday gifts and support local artisans. The modest vendor fee, with a refund for residents, makes participation accessible. Community members attending can expect a diverse range of handcrafted goods, and their support through raffle purchases will contribute to the Residents Association’s initiatives.
