The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall affecting approximately 7,000 Flashgitz-branded Space King No Girls Allowed Relic Lunch Boxes. The recall specifically targets the copper drinking cup included within these collectible boxes due to high concentrations of lead, which can pose a serious risk of lead poisoning to consumers. Lead is a toxic substance, and its ingestion by adults or children can lead to significant adverse health effects.

The recalled items are the copper cups found inside the Space King No Girls Allowed Relic Lunch Boxes. These lunch boxes are designed in a retro style and are marketed as limited-edition collectible bundles for fans of the web cartoon “Space King.” Each box contains a metal figurine, a lighter case, the drinking cup, and a pack of condoms. Additionally, the packaging includes a novelty item warning about “Chastity Seals.” The lunch box itself is red, featuring the “Space King” title in red and orange lettering at the top, with character imagery below. Only the copper cups are part of this safety recall.

Consumers who purchased these lunch boxes are urged to immediately stop using the recalled cups. They should contact the distributor, Warren James, for instructions on how to receive a replacement cup. Customers who bought the lunch boxes directly from Warren James will be sent a free replacement cup to the address on their original order. The recalled cups should be disposed of according to local waste disposal guidelines. The lunch box and the other included items can continue to be used without concern. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
