The recall specifically affects Panasonic Electric Toaster Ovens, Model No. NB-G200. These stainless steel units feature a temperature knob located at the bottom, with the Panasonic brand name visible on the front. The ovens are equipped with six pre-set cooking menus, a digital timer with settings up to 25 minutes, and adjustable temperatures ranging from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The model number NB-G200 can be found on the label located on the back of the appliance. These toaster ovens were sold nationwide through online retailers such as Amazon.com, Costco.com, and Panasonic.com, as well as other online platforms, between October 2024 and April 2026. The suggested retail price at the time of purchase was approximately $170.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Panasonic toaster oven are urged to immediately discontinue its use and contact Panasonic to arrange for a full refund. While no fires or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall, there have been four consumer reports of tripped circuit breakers or outlets, and one report of the product ceasing to function. Consumers can reach Panasonic toll-free at 888-943-2391 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. They can also contact the company via email at Panasonic6895@sedgwick.com or by visiting the dedicated recall page at shop.panasonic.com/toaster-oven-recall for more information and to initiate the refund process. The recall also covers approximately 2,184 units sold in Canada.
