The incident began around 8:43 pm when a passerby discovered flames on the side of the two-story residence. Upon investigation, officials determined that the preliminary cause of the fire was improperly discarded ground-based sparkler debris. Fortunately, there were no injuries or deaths reported, and no individuals were displaced from the home. The structure was equipped with a smoke alarm, which was present and activated during the incident. There was no fire alarm or sprinkler system in place.
