The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the deaths of a 67-year-old woman and her 34-year-old son, who were discovered deceased inside their residence. Deputies responded to the home on Baldridge Circle on Monday afternoon after a family member reported finding the individuals unresponsive.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders confirmed the presence of two deceased adults within the residence. The identities of the deceased are being withheld out of respect for the family. Detectives from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office have taken charge of the investigation.

Preliminary findings suggest that the circumstances leading to their deaths were contained within the home and involved only the individuals present. The Sheriff’s Office has stated that they are not searching for any suspects and there is no indication of any public safety threat. The investigation remains ongoing, and both individuals have been transported to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsies. The official cause and manner of death are pending the results of these examinations and the full completion of the investigation.
