Hagerstown Structure Fire Under Investigation After Neighbor Reports Blaze

A fire that broke out on Bester Street in Hagerstown on the evening of June 15, 2026, is currently under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. The incident, reported by a neighbor around 9:30 p.m., involved a two-story duplex located at 113 Bester Street in Washington County.

The Hagerstown Fire Department responded to the scene, with 15 firefighters tackling the blaze. The fire was brought under control in approximately two minutes. No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident. The duplex was undergoing renovation at the time of the fire.
