Approximately 40,000 Boon NURSH 8 oz Reusable Baby Bottles have been recalled by TOMY, the product’s importer, due to a potential choking hazard for young children. According to information from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the bottles’ hard plastic outer shell can develop bubbles or peel, leading to small pieces of plastic detaching. These loose plastic fragments pose a significant choking risk to infants and toddlers.

The recall specifically affects the Boon NURSH 8 oz Reusable Baby Bottles sold in a pink tie-dye pattern. These bottles come in a three-pack and feature a hard plastic exterior shell surrounding a soft silicone pouch. The Boon logo is visible on the exterior shell. Consumers can identify the recalled product by checking the item number B11654 and the UPC code 669028116546, which are printed on the bottom of the product’s packaging. The recalled bottles were available for purchase at Walmart stores and on Walmart.com between November 2025 and May 2026. The original purchase price was approximately $20.
TOMY has received 135 reports detailing instances of the outer plastic shell bubbling or peeling. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with this defect. Consumers who have purchased the recalled Boon NURSH 8 oz Reusable Baby Bottles are advised to immediately stop using them. To address the hazard, TOMY is offering consumers a refund in the form of a $22 store credit for booninc.com, or a replacement set of three bottles in a different color. To initiate the refund or replacement process, consumers can contact TOMY directly by calling toll-free at 866-725-4407, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Central Time. They can also reach out via email at cs@tomy.com or visit the dedicated recall website at https://recall.tomy.com/nursh.
