The charges against Alvarez-Alvarez include three counts each of second-degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor within a household or family member context, and third-degree sex offense. According to the information provided by DHS, he illegally entered the United States in Texas in 2016 and was released into the country by the Obama Administration. An immigration judge issued a final order of removal for Alvarez-Alvarez on February 7, 2019. His case is currently open in the Circuit Court for Harford County, Maryland, with a case number of C-12-CR-26-000450. The offenses are alleged to have occurred between January 1, 2021, and September 30, 2024.

“This criminal illegal alien from El Salvador is charged with rape and sexual abuse of a child,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Harford County, Maryland cooperates with ICE and will turn him over to ICE custody after he faces justice, so that he cannot threaten or harm another innocent child. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we will NOT allow child predators to be loose in American neighborhoods.”

Alvarez-Alvarez, described as a 5’9″ White male weighing 240 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, was born on March 2, 1994. His listed address is on Tollgate Road, Bel Air, Maryland. The court system has scheduled several hearings related to his case, including bail and bond reviews. Initial court documents indicate that a hold without bond order was set by Judge Yolanda L. Curtin on June 3, 2026, and further bail setting by Judge Alex Allman on June 8 and June 9, 2026, also indicating a hold without bond.
