To participate in the 2026 Washington County Ice Cream Trail, individuals are encouraged to obtain an official map, which can be downloaded from the Washington County website or acquired at any of the participating ice cream locations. The map serves as a guide to all the designated shops and outlines the steps required to complete the trail. Participants are invited to visit each listed ice cream establishment, indulge in a sweet treat, and have their trail map stamped at every stop. Upon collecting all the necessary stamps, completed maps can be submitted either through an online form or by mail.
As a reward for completing the entire Ice Cream Trail, participants will receive a complimentary commemorative t-shirt, serving as a keepsake of their summer adventure. This program offers a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to support local businesses, discover new places within Washington County, and enjoy a fun, engaging activity during the warmer season. Further details regarding the trail, including map downloads and updates, are available on the Washington County website at washco-md.net/icecreamtrail. For those active on social media, an official Washington County Ice Cream Trail Group has been established on Facebook to provide ongoing information and facilitate community interaction.
