According to information released by the Frederick Police Department, the collision resulted in the deaths of two individuals: Donte Jerron Dejesus Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Hanover, Maryland, and Amori Elona Terrell, a 19-year-old from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Families of the deceased have been notified. In addition to the fatalities, a third person involved in the crash sustained critical injuries and is receiving medical attention. A fourth individual was transported to a local hospital and is currently reported in stable condition. The crash investigation is ongoing, and the Frederick Police Department is handling the reconstruction of the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the crash indicate that it occurred subsequent to an attempted traffic stop initiated by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
