Food vendors and trucks interested in participating in the event have the opportunity to showcase their culinary creations. Businesses that specialize in cheesesteaks or are eager to present a unique variation of the classic sandwich are encouraged to apply. The deadline for food vendor applications was Friday, February 20, 2026.
The Battle of the Cheesesteaks is slated to feature live head-to-head competitions, where participants will vie for the title of Best Cheesesteak in Hagerstown. Beyond the culinary contest, attendees can anticipate a day filled with live music, various activities, and general community enjoyment in the downtown area. For participating vendors, the event promises high foot traffic and significant visibility, offering a prime opportunity to connect with local residents and visitors.
Admission for the public will become available with an early bird ticket sale commencing on March 1, 2026. Attendees will have the option to purchase general admission tickets or opt for a VIP ticket package.
