Approximately 25,000 bottles of Ruahouine Hair Growth Serum have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to a serious risk of poisoning for young children. The recalled hair growth serum is sold in 60ml transparent amber dropper bottles. Labels on these bottles display the brand name “Ruahouine” along with product descriptions such as “Minoxidil Hair Growth Serum” and “5% Minoxidil With Biotin.” These products were available for purchase online through Amazon.com between January 2025 and July 2025, with consumers paying approximately $10 per bottle. The product was sold by Ruahouine, a company based in China.
Consumers who have purchased the Ruahouine Hair Growth Serum are urged to take immediate action to secure the product, ensuring it is placed out of the sight and reach of children. To initiate the recall process, consumers must contact Ruahouine directly via email at ruahouine@gmail.com. The company will provide instructions on how to properly dispose of the recalled bottles and will offer either a refund or a replacement product. As part of the disposal process, consumers will be instructed to pour the serum into the trash and then email a photograph of the discarded bottle to the provided email address. While no incidents or injuries have been reported in relation to this specific recall, the potential for serious harm or death from accidental ingestion by children necessitates this precautionary measure.
