The Washington County Arts Council (WCAC) has initiated a nationwide search for a new Executive Director to guide the organization through a phase of expansion and increased community impact. Established in 1967, WCAC functions as Washington County’s official County Arts Agency and manages an annual budget of approximately $400,000. The council is dedicated to enhancing the region’s cultural landscape through a variety of initiatives, including gallery exhibitions, a retail operation that showcases over 150 local artists, and grant programs aimed at fostering artistic endeavors within the community.

WCAC is actively seeking a candidate with a forward-thinking approach and a proven track record in nonprofit management, particularly in areas of fundraising and grant writing. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting regional artists and promoting arts education. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 and a Tuesday through Saturday work schedule, designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.
