Radio Free Hub City (RFHC) has introduced a new online viewer designed to help the public sift through the more than 20,000 documents recently released by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform concerning financier Jeffrey Epstein. This free, web-based tool aims to make the extensive collection of records more accessible to journalists, independent researchers, and interested citizens. Among various emails and notes, the release also includes an unusual video of a dog playing with stuffed versions of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The viewer‘s primary function is to process and display the Bates Index file that accompanies the document release. This index, a critical but often obscure piece of metadata, is transformed by RFHC’s tool into an easily sortable table. This conversion allows users to quickly search and identify files based on specific criteria, such as local relevance or particular date ranges, which would otherwise be exceedingly difficult to locate within the vast digital archive. The tool automatically loads the most recently released Bates Index, providing immediate access to searchable titles, timestamps, and file types for every item.
The metadata uncovered by the viewer indicates a wide array of document types within the release. These encompass a significant number of legal and financial records, including deposition transcripts, legal motions, and financial statements. Additionally, the collection contains commercial and political analysis, with files categorized as investment strategy reports, political risk assessments, and commentary on global political matters, including China. Personal and biographical information is also present, with documents labeled as diaries or personal notes, alongside articles pertaining to Epstein’s personal affairs.
Of particular note, the metadata points to the existence of unusual media files. One file, dated November 2016, is identified as a video with the filename IMG_0642.MP4.mov. This specific file is a video showing a dog interacting with stuffed toys of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. That file is available below for viewing.
RFHC’s viewer provides access to the file metadata—such as titles, authors, and dates—extracted from the index. To access the actual content of the documents, including text, images, spreadsheets, and video files, users must locate the corresponding filenames in the table generated by the viewer. They will then need to download the full document production directly from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s official release page. The official release can be found on the committee’s website.
